Timothy O'Hara - Music Director, Drummer
Tim is passionate about making events successful through live music.​ As a seasoned performer and respected instructor, he realized early on the profound impact music can have on people and events which ignited a fire within him to pursue music as a means to make every event extraordinary. He has made a lifetime of playing with some of the biggest names in the industry and in 2018 became dedicated to honing his skills, exploring various genres, and assembling a talented group of musicians who share the same passion and vision. Together, they formed Electro Retro, a band that strives to create magical moments through our live performances.​​​
Gloria Rivera - Lead Vocals
Gloria Rivera-Welsch is a premier Midwest vocalist known for a "belter at heart" style that blends soulful depth with high-octane energy. She commands the stage with her powerhouse vocals and her mastery of multiple music genres from high-energy party hits to soulful anthems. Whether headlining a corporate gala, performing the National Anthem, or leading national worship conferences, Gloria’s mission is simple: to deliver a world-class vocal performance that creates lasting memories.
John Ernst - Bass, Vocals
John brings with him the knowledge and touring experience of a pro player and performing artist that deserves respect of anyone fortunate enough to share the stage with him. His high energy and powerful vocals push the boundaries of live entertainment. John's bass chops are second to none and his showmanship keeps the crowd captivated with anticipation of what he may do next. There's never a dull moment when "Johnny Bling" is on the stage.
Bob Wolcotte - Guitar, Vocals
Bob has followed his passion for music his entire life that began the age of 12. As an accomplished guitarist and music teacher, he has built an extensive catalog of genres and has had the opportunity to tour throughout America with a broad variety of bands. He was thrilled to become a permanent member of Electro Retro in January of 2025 and join this talented group of musicians. You cannot miss his musical prowess when he shreds tunes by Prince, Van Halen, the Doobie Brothers, or Led Zepplin.
Kathleen Dooley - Keyboards, Percussion, Vocals
Kathleen mixes lively piano arrangements, conga drums and powerful backing vocals reminiscent of her extensive scoring and vocal coaching background. Her sound is rooted in her love of Motown, Chicago blues, country folk, and New Orleans Jazz. As a multi-genre singer/songwriter, Kathleen has written a variety of songs for herself and various local Chicago artists. Her music is featured regularly on indie internet radio stations The Music Authority and Twirl Radio, and her songs have been picked up or covered by Nashville recording artists and local performers.

These guys (and gal) were AWESOME. From planning, where Tim (The Leader) was very attentive to what we needed, to the setup on the day of the event, they arrived early so they could finish their sound check before dinner was served, and best of all - they sounded great. Everybody was coming up to me saying how much fun the band was, and they seemed to genuinely enjoy playing for us. They even got the kids into it at points throughout. They made sure to let us know they would adjust volume up or down as needed to make sure we were comfortable. Totally professional group here and I would not hesitate to highly recommend them!"
"Their Videos Don't Do Them Justice"
Their on-line video does not come close to what they actually sound like live! Lucy rocked the house with her voice, and the guitarist is awesome! (I forgot his name) many guests asked how I knew them and would see them/use them again. Our event was a smashing success due to their energy and abilities. Kudos Electro Retro for being an exceptional last minute replacement. Wow!
